About us

Savvy Computers builds custom gaming PCs, workstations and simulator systems. Every part is chosen, every machine assembled and every build tested by hand, before it leaves the workshop.

Our story

Savvy Computers grew from a lifelong fascination with technology, and with gaming computers above all. The first was bought with $500 of savings and assembled from second-hand parts. Modest components, put together with considerable care.

Building soon became the passion. An old, weathered computer was acquired, restored part by part and sold on Marketplace. Returning a neglected machine to full working order set the standard the business still holds itself to today.

Six years on, more than 500 computers have left the workshop. Each one is still built by hand in Sydney, and each one is held to that same standard.

The process

Five steps, without exception. From a first gaming PC to a triple-screen simulator.

  1. Consultation

    Choose a system from the collection, or tell us the games, software and budget in mind. We specify a build to suit.

  2. Specification

    Every component is checked for fit, power and compatibility before a single part is ordered.

  3. Assembly

    Each machine is assembled by hand in our Sydney workshop, with every cable routed and secured.

  4. Testing

    BIOS updated, memory set to its rated speed, then processor, graphics and memory held under sustained load.

  5. Delivery

    Fully insured express courier, signed for on arrival. Collection from the workshop is also available.

Aftercare

Every system carries a 12-month warranty on parts and labour. Should anything arise, contact us with your order number. We diagnose the fault with you first, then repair or replace the component as required.

This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a component carries a longer manufacturer warranty, we assist with the claim.
